About us

Who are we? And what do we do?
We are a youth led organisation for young people who are interested in creating a secure and sustainable future for all. Sustainable Development is about meeting the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.  Dyfodol seeks to achieve this, working on three main principles: Empowerment, Education and Action.

Empowerment:  The members are encouraged to voice their opinions on issues they feel strongly about, Dyfodol gives these young people a voice; a voice that gets heard by decision makers at all levels of society and government.

Education:  We believe that it is extremely important for everyone to be aware of sustainable development and other related issues. We believe that peer education (young people teaching young people) is the best way to spread information in the long term, and we aim to create educational resources produced and delivered for young people by young people.

Action:  We believe that sustainable development requires each of us to take action, as individuals as well as part in Dyfodol. Before taking action it is important to be educated on the issues.
