How?

From sharing skills and knowledge through youth empowerment we will help kickstart positive action on climate change.

so, time to meet the 8 young people and 3 youth workers taking the journey, as well as some of our Wales team twittering, blogging and being our media contacts at home.

Robin was born in Bangor, Gwynedd in 1985. He enjoys languages, poetry, bikes and… mathematics! Having tried his hand at being a student, teacher and a campaigner, he’s now working for Dyfodol and supporting this enthralling journey to Mongolia.

Kirsti’s just moved back to Machynlleth in Mid-Wales after 10 years of galavanting and adventures outside the home land. Now she’s back having a great time working for Dyfodol as the new Advocate. A big fan of traveling and meeting new friends and especially fond of waterfalls.

Anthony was born in 1989 in mansfield and has lived in Chester and Pwllheli with his mum, dad, little brother and older sister. He is living in dolgellau by himself at the minute. He loves football and supports Manchester United. So far he’s really enjoying the trip and trying to pursue a career in the army air core or welsh guards.

Taliesin, 16, from Dinorwig enjoys playing rugby and riding his bike. He plays cello for the North Wales Youth Orchestra.

Isabel, 21, has grown up on the beautiful coast of West Wales, Aberaeron. She is studying law at The University of Bristol at the moment, but she also runs her own organisation called UNfairplay and is a director of Dyfodol. She loves the sea and cycling round Bristol on her speedy bike. Pancakes are her no.1 food.

Sannan, 19, grew up in Penuwch, moved to Tregaron at 12(ish).. He enjoys playing table tennis, football, and mountain biking. He also enjoys eating, going out to gigs, festivals and music events and dislikes RAW TOMATOES! He’s currently deciding to take a year out before going to university next year to study a Bsc in Sustainable Development at Kingston University, London. In later life he hopes to become a sustainable engineer.

Kyle was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire in 1993. He likes football and rugby, he played bass guitar in school. He has worked at shropshire exotics pet store, Porthmadog golf club and has some management skills whilst working at Porth classic motorcycles.

Rosie is 17, from the Cardigan area. She has just finished her GCSE’s at college and is going on to study dance, art (her two favourite things) and world development (inspired by Project Mongolia!) at Llanelli College as soon as she returns.

Anna lives by the sea in west Wales with her partner and 3 kids. She has worked with Dyfodol for nearly 10 years but this trip to Mongolia is definitely the most exciting project so far. She likes riding her bike, hanging out on the beach and eating good food with friends and family.
